Your Morning Could Be Like…
*7am – Up and out of bed.
Much, much later than others say to do, but for me, it works. I need my sleep. 9 hours if I can get it!
I spend the first half hour with my hubby and little pooch, Charlie (female). She’s spoiled rotten as all pooches should be!
*7:30am – Devotions
This is the BEST part of my morning. Reading and praying!
I try to never miss it!
*8am – Start getting ready for the day.
I listen to podcasts while I’m getting ready.
All different kinds of peeps are on my playlist so it just depends on my mood.
Some days, it’s business-related (like above), other days it could be beauty or fashion.
Several days a week it might be a Christian program from some of my favorite speakers.
Yep, depends on my mood. But, I love this time!
Your Work Could Be Like…
*9am-3pm – Work how and where I want for my business.
I am absolutely not a traveling nomad who travels from country to country while working. Although many do and it sounds amazing!
However, I do travel from room to room in my house.
Does that count?
I also travel from inside my house, to outside my house in the backyard, depending on the weather.
So, I guess you could say I’m sort of a traveling nomad.
Whatever you call it, I love it!
*3pm-5pm – Handle all Other Issues
Depending on the tasks, this might not be the most enjoyable part of the day.
Dealing with errands and calls…and…just daily life stuff:
- like calling customer service for the cell phone
- returning an item or scheduling an online pickup
- going to the grocery store for dinner (the lines! whew!)
- and any other personal task that needs to be handled for the day.
It’s not always glamorous but it has to be done, right?
Your Personal Time Could Be Like…
*5pm-10pm – WHATEVER YOU WANT
I cherish the evening time.
First of all, I’m NOT getting home from a long commute and drained from the drive.
Second of all, I still have 5 hours left to do whatever I want!
That’s a lot of time!
Sometimes we go to the beach to watch the sunset.
Yep, it’s close to us now that we’re in Florida.
Sometimes, we relax after dinner on the back porch.
And, yes, sometimes, we sit in front of the TV and binge on Netflix.
Doesn’t everyone do that sometimes?
Do you feel the same way?
Do you get bored sitting in one place all the time?
Hate looking at the same things all the time?
Do you hate hearing and smelling the same things day in and day out?
You’re just like me. You like change!
Working from home as a Virtual Assistant allows you to do all of the ‘changing it up’ that you want.
You can work while traveling.
Work from a hotel room or restaurant booth.
How about working on the beach? (Not often, though, because sand and computers don’t always mix!)
The work is varied and your location can be varied.
